I have used AMP several times daily for perhaps 2 years to record ideas and other important information. It’s fast and accurate, and it has made a significant positive difference in my professional life. I highly recommend it!

I am so upset right now. I’ve been using your app for years. But just recently , my older recordings are not playing. Even if I wait for them to download NOTHINg HaPPENs. It used to be that I trusted this app so much that I recorded precious audio of me and my now deceased grandmother having a conversation. And now when I look up the file , it shows the size of the file and it can be searched but when I try hit “play” or “send” to another app , nothing happens!! I can’t hear the sound of my Nana’s voice and I really need your help. This is not just one file but more than 10 files on my app that just don’t play and can’t be sent. But I know there’s information Becuase it shows the file size. I would like to change this review to a good one but there’s no other way to contact you for help. Please help me recover precious precious memories.

I just started using this app to communicate with my team (EA). It takes a while to get used to it, but it’s pretty helpful so far, and there are no issues with the app.

Sometimes voice texts don’t send-

This is an outstanding recording app with an extensive array of options for adjusting, editing, merging, splitting, naming, sending, and everything else you can think of! The help section is clear and extensive. Congratulations to the developers and thank you!?

I’ve had this app for years and since the last update, when I try to insert a recording in a previous recording, it crashes

In my opinion this is the very best audio recording app. I’ve used it for years now and what I like about the app is easily it is to add to a recording. You can add to the beginning of one, to the end and even insert more anywhere in the recording. You can easily edit one too. It’s the Best.

I’ve been using this for years for meetings, family arguments, and priceless memories of things my kids say. I have never experienced a situation where this application did not meet or exceed expectations. Thank you to all the folks who keep this application operating smoothly across numerous OS changes. I have the free version which has worked well. But I’m trying to evaluate whether I should upgrade to pro or pro plus,Have always been given the cost structure. I cannot find information yet about what the advantages are. There must be great advantages to upgrade to one of the choices so far I have not been able to find such a description and this is not unusual to this app. There must be that information that I need to make a decision but it should not be this difficult to find. Any help out there?

Great for choral parts and practice. Simple to use. Wish all apps were this good and easy to use!

On the web you see a Bluetooth mic option on a screen capture for this version which is absent. A waste of 10 bucks. Wanted to record from my Bluetooth mic in my motorcycle helmet and I feel deceived.

tested for days there are so many but not as good as this. Very functional but yet very simple to use. Has many incredibly useful function features. Quick and fast for short Memo’s yet fully featured for a total recorded message with markers and savings capabilities.

I bought this app, record while I am riding through my bluetooth headset microphone. But i see iPhone microphone all the time I record. Explanation shows that there is an option to choose bluetooth microphone but not in my menu??? Is there a chance to return this app!? I do not feel good, because I believe what I read on explanations before I buy. There is no bluetooth microphone option!!! Please send me information, what would you do for that.

Looking for a recorder right?? This is a simple, effective, recording app, and you can save them for how ever long...I’ve had the app for YEARS, I still have a recoding from another employee who threatened me at work. I’m a real human being lol, from Chicago with love my people (African, White, Latin, Asian, Indian, Native Americans (I wonder why its Native nowadays vs “Indians”...how the world has changed lol). The app is easy to use, and you honestly can’t go wrong...I’m 39, do you remember when the rainbow stood for “The Covenant between...people”...I’m not the religious one, but how the world has changed 🤔

This is what an iOS application is supposed to be like. A beautifully simplistic interface and yet it is so rich with features. There are more bells and whistle‘s found in this app than any carnival around!!! Most importantly though, this App is consistently and utterly reliable. If you’re going to buy a voice app, you would be a fool to buy anything else. Kudos to the developer.

For the second time now I have used this app and had a complete freaking disaster. The recording went fine, everything seemed fine afterward when i stopped the recording, and the recordings all showed up in the list of your recordings like they normally should… And now, for the second time after a day or two, my recordings vanished. Without a trace. No way to recover them. I thought the first time was my fault – – I must've done something somehow to move them to some other place in the app? Nope. They're gone. The three hour interview -- which I auto separated into six different recordings because I was so nervous about losing them and which I will never get the chance to redo -- is now gone. Seriously do not get this app unless you want to tear your hair out and punch someone's skull through a plaster wall.

Good app I use it for recording and editing my university classes Need some more functions 1 When you are editing a voice there is no time indicator so if the app is closed you will lose your editing even don't know where you were! 2 some times you need to split the file in editing section.there is no way to keep both sections 3 its important the incoming call would be cancelled during recording .still missing 4 in editing section that would be great if there were a flash back botton like playing section 5 there is some difficulties in touching bottons

This recording app was one of the first but still is the best

I've been using this app to record interviews for my PhD dissertation for a while. It takes a little while to get used to some of its quirks, but it does the job quite well. Sound quality is great, even after using the file compression feature (which is really useful when you're on the road and don't have a fast connection for backing up your recordings). At one point the app did give me a major scare, after one of my recordings suddenly disappeared and I couldn't figure why or out how to recover it. But I contacted customer service, and they helped me to recover it. All in all, I'm sticking with it and would definitely recommend it!

Well-written software! Has all the options I like, accept one- can't record during a phone call. My "workaround" is to use my iPad with this program while I have my iPhone on speaker mode.

Not sure why, but the recordings are of very low volume. Even when speaking 2 inches away from the mic and playing my my car with the speakers all the way up I have a hard time hearing what was recorded.

Just got upgraded to new version, now we can't upload with FTP. Can't contact developer on website. No way to let them know. This was working before this last upgrade.

Good recording quality, but the editing options are terrible!

There are many audio programs in the marketplace but few offer such ease of editing, default name construction, and search facilities as this program does.

This is still the best app for recording, great features in the complete bundle.

Wasted $10 on this app. Set it up to do a timed record this morning -- it didn't record!!! How useful is a recording app that doesn't record???? Checked settings - everything was correct. App was not closed. It just simply didn't record. 😡👎👎👎👎👎

Very easy to use. It allowed me to record an unusual bird song heard only during mating season.

Do not update! After update now impossible to edit memo name. Trying just crashes the app every time. iOS 8.4.1 iPhone 4s.

One of my favorite apps. Children love this app to create their own stories too!

I realI enjoy using this app. The recent ability to turn off the filtering helps, but mainly it is straight forward, and accessible with VoiceOver.

the auto-compress feature is locking up the app.

This app has no longer work since I updated and bought a new phone it does not work on my iPad my iPhone six or my iPhone 6s. It will not unlock and when it does it freezes up or it closes out and I have to restart it and it does the same thing on all my devices.

I purchased this app with the intention of emailing files of recorded info and after purchasing it, found out that only a small file can be sent through email! I want my money back please.....

Has all i need in a super easy interface and works great with voiceover

I have been using this app for quite some time, and it works great. Currently using the latest version on my Iphone 6 Plus, with the most recent operating system update installed. I keep this on my home screen, although I sometimes just use Siri to call it up. One thing I really like is that you can quickly open the app, record a memo, and it will automatically name and save it (using current date and time) with hardly any typing. If you want to catch and record quick ideas without fumbling around, this works beautifully. I have bought NUMEROUS voice recorder apps, but this one has become my favorite "go to" app. I'd definitely recommend it.

The latest update was apparently auto pushed - icon changed and is stuck in installing update mode. Can't get to files - wifi import, iTunes sync - nada!! I purchased the pro level and am BLAZENLY UNHAPPY that you're update not only isn't working but may have caused loss of files. In this day and age REALLY?!? PLEASE FIX YOUR APP!!!

The most flexible recording and productivity product on my iPad

I've had the benefit of being able to peruse at lot of applications for my iPad online. And to be honest a good percentage of them are well thought out and very useful. But this application bar none has exceeded my expectations when it comes to vocal transcription of meetings, conversations or just its use as a vocal stenographer. I can say beyond all doubt that if you require an utility that offers the same set of useful capabilities and you do not check this one out you will be doing yourself and your efforts a great disservice.

As Secretary for a nonprofit arts organization, one of my duties is to take board meeting minutes. I've used AudioMemos for that purpose since the application was first released. The longer I use it, the better it becomes. The developers do a good job listening to customer concerns and helping solve issues. They also have fixed many of the bugs that plagued the app in the beginning. If I was to ask for one feature, it would be to have the ability to view pdf documents in iBook while a recording is in progress. As it stands now, when a document is opened, the recording is interrupted. However, this could be the result of my first gen iPad, rather the the AudioMemos app. Keep up the good work! I've been using this App in school for about 3 years and through the updates (regular) & just plain solidness/robustness of this program, I can review lectures, etc. with ease. If you need an audio record of what takes place around you, a better App would be hard to find. I bought all upgrades immediately, & use it on my i5 (not S) & iPad 3 & even my old iPod (ios6). Works wonderfully on all iDevices!

I lost my recordings of multiple hours. You can't undo any of your mistakes. Please fix this. Please have double or triple check on things to be erased forever. Even the trash please do not erase with one button touch. Have the action confirmed just in case you touched by mistake like I did. If you make this changes my review will change immediately. Looking foreword to it.

I purchased this to record lectures at an important seminar I was attending. After the first 2 lectures were improperly deleted by the app when I ended the recording, I went with a different solution. I thought I had made a mistake with the first one...but paid close attention during the second. After pausing the recording, then clicking done...the recording simply vanished. Don't buy this app if your recordings are important to you.
